Hi all,
Please if anyone has made a backup of PJalm repositories, upload it.
I need it to patch my update Z77X-UD5H.
Even if they don't exist, I want only the patches names and I'll try to get them.
Thank you.
I tried installing the latest GenericUSB kext from the original thread and these are the results:
With the dongle connected to the outer right USB2.0 port and it goes to sleep without problems:

I'm using the latest from your trunk.

I don't know whether it's my DSDT or the GenericUSB fault.
I patched my DSDT using the topic of the 4540s DSDT patches and your repository on GitHub.
When any USB device connected to any - except one port on the right (the outer one) - it doesn't go to sleep, justa a black screen and the power...
Hi all,
I have been messing with my ProBook for a while trying to get 10.8.4 fully working.
I don't really use the ProBook Installer, I use the attached package. I collected it from many things.
Things I want to ask about:
1- The GenericUSB Kext cause a problem while getting the laptop to sleep...
I guess it's the GenericUSBXHCI problem.
I had the same problem with sleep and it is fixed by removing all peripherals from the USB3 ports.
Hope this will be fixed in the near future.
When I put the 4540s to sleep and wake it for the first time everything works correctly, however, when I put it to sleep for a second time and wake up, neither the trackpad nor the keyboard works. I had to close the lid again then wake up in order to make them work.
I'm the only only...
HP ProBook Installer 6.1 (beta): Ivy bridge support
Yes, I've tried it and it's giving me the same results and the same P-States.
I've attached the one from version 3.3 but, no performance difference between the two.
HP ProBook Installer 6.1 (beta): Ivy bridge support
Hey philip_petev, I've attached my SSDT.aml for i5-3210M. It's working great and I have been testing it for about 4 days now and there is no errors. It is generated by ssdtPRGen. I duplicated the last P-State and now, I'm getting these...
After a lot of testing on the DVD connection error, If we could inject the following two keys in the DSDT by any means they will solve the problem. Otherwise, AHCI_3rdParty or the upcoming 10.8.3 will fix the issue or even the MacBookAirandMacBookProUpd2.0.
Can these two keys be injected via DSDT?
I have ProBook 4540s with tha same processor and 10.8.2 is fully working except for the WiFi and Bluetooth.
In order to get it to work, you should do the following steps.
1. Extract untouched DSDT from any Ubuntu live cd.
2. Follow Mad_Sunday guide...
The newedid.sh link is dead.
I have a 4540s with 3210M.
I ran the package in the Installer and It changed my System Profiler and I edited the plist file and corrected the name.
If there are tests you want me to do I'm here.
Ok.
Before using SSDT the fan was about 1900rpm but after applying SSDT, it is about 2600rpm.
Is that normal or the reading are incorrect?
I'm not using any fan control patches.
I'm stuck on generating my SSDT.
I used the latest ssdtPRGen.sh from GitHub and wrote "ssdtPRGen.sh 3100 35 1"
I have a 3210M processor with Max turbo frequecny 3100MHz and Base 2500MHz and TDP 35W.
I'm using the patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement from the ProBook installer and...
