Hello there, since upgrading to Catalina (and now also Big Sur) I have random UI freezes. It starts with the active program (any program is affected at some time...) becoming unresponsive, mission control and switching to other programs still works and then step by step the whole system gets...

I have freezes without Tuxera or Paragon, just happened after a fresh High Sierra or Mojave install. Right now, no freezes for the last week? It's totally random and not reproducible. I will post a complete report when the next freeze comes -.-

I have the same problem with an Asrock H77 Pro4m i5 3470. Started with High Sierra so I switched back to Sierra. Desided to install Mojave yesterday, freezes came back -.- Maybe an issue with Asrock H77 boards?

I thought nvidia already launched Synergy. Optimus for desktop systems. But they didn't so my question is obsolete now ^^

Can i switch manually between them? If not, a Z68 board is needles, right? edit: -> I'm asking this because I'm thinking of getting a Xeon 1230 without IGP so my dedicated card has to run all the time -> bigger energy consumption. But if it's not possible anyway I can go for it instead of an i5...

Hey :) i wonder if the gpu is automatically switched by the requirements. So if I'm just browse the web Mac OS is using the Intel3000 and for gaming it switched to my dedicated video card. thanks Secutor :headbang:

So can anybody confirm now, that this build could work? (CPU, Board and RAM combination is working flawlessly under WIN and Linux). So it should work for a Hackintosh too, at least from the technical side. What's about the 570GTX? Will any card work? Or do I need to buy a special one? Thanks :)...

well, the cool thing about THIS Xeon is, that it also works with non ECC RAM and on every 1155 board. At least under WIN.
