You need to put a plaintext file called "com.user.checkint.plist" into /Library/LaunchDaemons/
After the file is made and placed (contents below) From terminal, type this:

Hi, Going Bald,
I think there may be some confusion about PCIe generation 2 and PCIe generation 3 vs. how many lanes of PCIe there are (e.g. x2 = 2 lanes). The number of lanes that can be negotiated depends on the processor.

Hi, JimNasium,
Were you able to successfully run a mixed configuration of an Ivy Bridge processor on Z68XP motherboard? I'm about to try doing this because I need PCIe x2 support for a storage expansion card in my system, and I'm looking for tips from others who've tried.
Sandy Bridge...
On my system, the Marvell chips operate totally independently. I would think of this as being analogous to how the controllers on two separate hard drives operate independently.
Hi, Jiojimbo,
That's definitely only a PCIe x1 card. You won't be able to get full SATA3 (6G) speeds from even one drive attached to that card. If all you need is to add storage, then that card would probably be fine, but the speeds will likely be closer to that of SATA2 (3G).
Hi, JimNasium,
Looking at your MultiBeast selections, you appear to have an incorrect driver for your on-board Ethernet. Your board should choose one of the two Realtek Ethernet options. I have no idea if that could cause your boot loop problem.

Hi, otemshank,
Were you able to get your system working with the 3770k processor? I'm planning a similar upgrade for my computer, and want to make sure that I do it right.
Thanks!

Hi, kazh72,
Were you able to get your system working? I have a GA-Z68XP-UD3, and I'm thinking of replacing the Intel Core i7-2600K processor with an Intel Core i7-3770K processor so that I can use my Accelsior card at PCIe x2...
Tried installing the card in a PCIe 2 x16 (@x8), but my Sandy Bridge processor only negotiated at x1.
I bought an Ivy Bridge processor and should be able to test it in the next couple days.
EDIT:
Looking more carefully at the output from lspci -vv on my system, I see that the...
Hi, gsloan,
Is this card recognized by your system as x2 or x4? I'm asking because my CustoMac has a Sandy Bridge processor, which will negotiate x2 down to x1.
I tried contacting Syba about this card, and here's the response that I received:
Dear Customer,
This card's size is...
I needed to remove:

Steps
Boot computer normally.
At the Chimera screen, press any key to enter the keyboard entry mode.
Enter the boot parameters:
