    I did the update through update manager, I was on 10.6.2. During the install it crashed and now it won't boot, not even with tony's boot CD. I'm running a inspiron 1764 with an i5 430m. Any ideas?

    I seem to get this a lot when using it. Is this because I am trying to install kexts that I dont have hardware for?. It says that the "xxxxx.kext" has been installed improperly/ I also can't find easybeast... It also screws up my keyboard and trackpad support. Even if I don't install those kexts...

    So i finally became aggravated enough and disassembled my dell inspiron 1764 to find that it is using that wirless adapter. I've tried all the kexts on kext.com. i need airport to work for the OS to be practical. does anyone know of a kext that would get this adapter to work. Thanks Anthony
