    Catalina Laptop Improvements

I've successfully installed Catalina 10.15.1 on my MSI GS63VR 7RF, but it's obviously not perfect as my experience hackintoshing isn't that extensive. I'd love to see if you guys can find any possible improvements with my hack. So far bluetooth, wifi, sleep, and sound are all working. One issue...

custom USB ssdt help - almost there

I made this custom ssdt long ago, and I'm just now noticing that my HS10 and HS11 slots for bluetooth and webcam disappear when I remove USBinjectall, which I need to remove for proper sleep management. BCM94352Z or BCM943252Z

According to the laptop FAQ, the required wifi card is BCM943252Z. I can only find BCM94352Z online. Was this a typo in the FAQ? will the BCM94352Z work if my laptop will accept the card? Thanks.

Vega 56 fan control on 10.14.5

So with the recent update to 10.14.5, supposedly apple has fixed the vega fan curves. Well, even running a custom game on league I'm hitting 70c on my GPU. Which isn't terrible I know, but on windows I'm hitting 43c max. The fans barely kick in at all and at high temps, running around 10-15%...

Vega 56 fan control with Jay's guide help

Hey guys, I'm following Jay's guide to keep my Vega 56's fan speed under control (and keep the load LEDs from spazzing hopefully). I've run into an issue though. The guide says "If you get an error such as "GFX0 device not found" or "unsupported registry entry" then your Vega GPU most likely...

    External HDMI monitor not recognized

My HDMI port is at AppleIntelFrameBuffer@1. The connector type is correct at <00 08 00 00>, but when I plug in the HMDI cable it doesn't show a display under that specific AppleIntelFrameBuffer@1, or in the Mac display settings. The monitor does however realize that it's been plugged in and pops...

I've recently got my hack up and running with everything except bluetooth. I'm using a realtek nano adapter for wifi at the moment. Mojave installation on MSI GS63VR 7RF Improvements

I've completed the Mojave installation on my MSI laptop after about 10 tries. I feel everything is running smoothly except the CPU temps are a bit high at times (I'm changing the thermal paste from MSI's shitty factory grease soon so no worries there). I would love for a hackintosh pro to...
