So I have my hackintosh up and running in OSX. I am going to set it up to also have a windows boot. I went for the full Apple look-- PowerMac G5 case, 27" LED Apple Cinema display, Apple wired extended keyboard. On the windows (7) side, I'd like to have all the keys work on the keyboard...

On the buyers guide, it specs the audio hardware, video outputs, and network hardware. E.g. for a given motherboard it'll say something like, Is there a directory somewhere of which of those items will work, ideally listed as OOB, with effort, not at all? If so, where? Or, if they're listed...

I'd love for it to be on the main board, but can use a card if necessary. Most of all, I want the easiest 100% compatibility without fiddiling. Thoughts? TIA!

So I'm building my first Hackintosh, and one of the things I most want is for it to be quiet. Case fans-- I'm going with 2 140mm fans in the front-- probably by Noctua or BeQuiet! I'm leaning towards, but open to change, a Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 5 motherboard. If I get a variable speed fan...

A perfect solution would allow drives to just be inserted from the front, like on the pre trash can Mac Pros. Slide to insert, SATA connectors and power on the back, and I could wire that to motherboard SATA and power. But, failing that, something that would allow me to stack 4-6 drives...

I'd like to put in a case filter, from under the tray the optical drive sits on all the way down to the floor of the case. Has anyone done this? Suggestions as to where to get such a filter? Thanks!
