Anyone put a filter on the inside of the front of the G5 tower?

I'd like to put in a case filter, from under the tray the optical drive sits on all the way down to the floor of the case.

Has anyone done this? Suggestions as to where to get such a filter?

I'm using filters in front, at the top and bottom of my G5 case. using Demcifilters. They know the dimension. I have it customized for me. you can check my build log if you want. but filters are outside not on the inside. it's magnetic so it is easy to remove and clean everyday. the perforated part that aren't included in the area of the filter is covered with a vinyl sticker on the inside to avoid dust coming in on those holes. same at the back of the case.

btw, i hate dust.

so far i didn't found any build logs with internal filters. hope you can figure it out on your project

My current plan is to get a filter in the size of the G5 case internals (base to shelf, back panel to door) and friction fit it in the front of the case.

I have thought about doing a filter,too! The G5 is free breathing and that will bring in the dust.I looked around for filters and did not find that much. I picked up some wire form at an art supply store with the intent of making a filter. As you can see, I have yet to open the package.

Okay, I'm going to order a custom filter from Demcifilters, which I believe should friction fit into place in the front of the case, and then will be secured by the fan mounting bracket. I intend to use the following dimensions-- anyone have any suggestions where they might not be correct? It's an awkward place to take measurements....

so basically you're going to use the front io panel and cd drive? coz i covered it in my custom filters as i'm only using the power button.
you can ask them the OD and ID for the front filter then just change the area for the front io panel.

i checked my email to DEMCIFILTER and found this: outer dimension of the filter is 40cm x 19.7cm to be exact

Mine is going to be on the inside of the case, so perhaps the dimensions are a bit different than your external one?

But, yes, I'm going to have the front panel and optical drive function as stock.
