Tried the EFI and it worked. Also tried another EFI and it worked but in different ways. Ended up using Mac mini 2018 config.
USB3 is only at USB 2 speeds. on all ports including the USB C. (Full speed if you remove any TB3 kext or TB3 in ACPI.) TB3 never worked correctly for me.

not for nothing, but just picked up a used 6600 xt for $200 on CL. Since they are still under warrant for another two years, it was worth a shot. The prices of cards has dropped and some are dumping them.
Thank you, you saved me a system build and an Amazon return.
My Asus Z490M just gave it's last breath. Was going to get the B560m and transfer the chip over. Using my M1 Mini is not the same.
would the onboard IGpu video work natively on a B560m with a 10700k? I don't want to use a video card. I see that OP has an AMD card in sig. It works on the B460 series.
Wanted to check before ordering.
Should be compatible with up to Monterey. Checkout the Z690 thread https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/z690-chipset-and-alder-lake-cpus.316618/
You will need an AMD video card. Look for which ones others are using in their signatures.

I have an XFX 6600 XT from Best Buy. Only have to add agdpmod=pikera for the boot args, and it works perfect. I got frustrated by having install issues. IF you can't get it to boot, try different EFI's from similar boards. If you can get it to boot, then you can tweak it. The Z690 was harder...
Using a Asus Z490m plus. Also had a Corsair 280mm AIO setup that my son didn't want anymore (he kept the fans).
Tried Cinebench R23 and the temp of the 10100 was 62C and the 10700k was 82C max temps. Idle for the 10100 is 32C and at 36C for the 10700k. Kind of surprised.

agdpmod=pikera is in there. Did you refresh the driver properties to add all PCI devices? I don't know if the 6600 and the 6600XT are diff in dev properties.
I have the E cores OFF. Since it is working, I just use it and haven't tried to play with the OpenCore settings. Others have gotten the E cores to work with other systems. The Z690m-plus is a good board and haven't had any issues with it.
