It goes in the config.plist under the NVRAM>Add there are 3 entries under that with a bunch of letters and numbers (mine is the last entry) open each one till you find the one with boot args under it. Add a space after -igfxfw=2 and type the agpmod=vit9696. Once you add that with all the other...
Okay I added agdpmod=vit9696 to the boot args section and it works!!!! Thank you so much for your help. The internal display stays lit but not on if that makes sense. When I try to close the lid it turns off the external display also. Is there a way to turn off the internal display and be able...
no matter what I try I can't get an external monitor working. Any idea where to start on fixing that? also if i unplug the usb hub or usb 3 to display port cable while its booted up it crashes and restarts the computer.
The sound doesn't seem to be coming out of the top speakers on the palm rest keyboard area. I think it's only coming out of the side bottom firing ones. Any fix for this? Also do you know if a usb c cord will work for an external monitor admit seems the Dell hdmi adapter doesn't work.

I did boot without caches and rebuild cache multiple times. Holding down the brightness on the keyboard I was able to see it long enough to change the display scaling. I then rebuilt the cache again and rebooted and it worked. I'm afraid to plug my external monitor again now that I got the...
Thanks for the reply. I tried lowering the scaling but no matter what I change it to, as soon as I login the screen goes black and flickers until i plug in the external monitor. Any Idea what you changed it to?
