Had 2500 is not my main I'm using it to try and install web driver but failed. But still the problem is with the kexts or config.plist adding something might fix it. As the installer booted with full acceleration gt610 and also installing apple logo part in my monitors native resolution . Now...
My gt 610 worked with Sierra with full acceleration(only 10.12.6) after installing web drivers. Gt 610 might not be supported in high Sierra then what about he 2500.
I'm hackintosing my PC since yosemite. Installing high Sierra went fine with full acceleration but after installation I can't boot into it. I getting a black screen with cursor. Cursor is working though and even the notification led so I think the system is running but not displaying. When I try...
Even though VGA is not supported in MAC os you can get it running. The thing is you might have a bit smaller resolution at the clover boot screen thats it. Once you boot into the os your gpu will handle the resolution. Assuming that you installed the drivers or kexts for your graphics.
Mine is a fresh install and I got mine working without web drivers too but sometimes had issues like disappearing of cursor and also the problems you mentioned. Did you try web drivers with nvda_drv=1 and face the issue?
Did you use "nvda_drv=1" or "nvda drv=1" ? This is basically web driver arg so you can also select nvidia web drivers in clover boot menu instead of typing this.
Gt 610 is working for me too but this is a bit different method and this is working in 10.12.6, You need to use web drivers and need to use nvda_drv=1 flag thats it and here's the proof. I can run on my native 1366x 768 res. The configuration doesn't change and stays the same as your previous...
I know that, I can't even get clover installed on my system. Now that I fully wiped my system and formatted my hdd in uefi, I think it works but it didn't so I needed to use chameleon, This has happened even in el capitan or since tonymacx86 stopped using chameleon based bootloaders as their...
I'm running Mac OS Sierra and also Windows on my Hackintosh in the same Hard Drive. I'm currently using chameleon bootloader and it is legacy bootloader so I want to switch to clover. I also know that chameleon is not supported by tonymacx86.com. So I tried to install clover bootloader in legacy...
I agree with you but I can't stick with 1024x768x32 resolution on 1366x768x32 monitor it is so odd so the only way for me to enable full resolution of my monitor is this.
Thank you for all your suggestion I figured this out. I thought that I might get more resolution with hdmi than the resolution with vga cable. So I found a HDMI to VGA Adapter lying in my house which I bought few months back so that it would be handy sometimes so I used that adapter and...
I'm using chameleon boot loader. One thing I noticed is that the computer boots in the resolution that is set for the boot loader which is weird. By using compatible resolution like 1280x1024x32 it worked all supported resolutions in vesa are working and they are the only one option available in...
I recently installed Mac OS Sierra and everything is running smooth but the only problem is the resolution. My monitor's resolution is 1366x768 but I'm stuck with 1024x768. GPU is properly detected including the manufacturer and it's memory. I tried all the solutions in the web even the one in...
