    New GPU + Parts from Previous Build - GA-Z77X-UD5H & i5 3570k

Back in 2013 or so I had successfully built a Hackintosh using the GA-Z77X-UD5H motherboard and i5 3570k Ivy Bridge CPU. I was considering making another Hackintosh on High Sierra with those 2 parts and the 32gb of DDR3 RAM. I recently failed when using an NVIDIA GTX 1050 due to being unable to...

Unibeast Reboot before making it to the Installer (10.7)

I have installed Yosemite, Mavericks, and Mountain Lion on Hackintoshes several times with success but never Lion so this is new to me. This build previously had OS X Yosemite installed on it but my client needs OS X 10.7 to run an older version of Pro Tools. The BIOS has been configured to...

Gigabyte Intel Z77 LGA 1155 - Green Audio Port Stopped Working

Hi thank you for your response. I tried what you advised but it did not work. I unplugged all other drives except for the OS X drive and booted from my Ubuntu USB. I opened up terminal and ran "sudo apt-get update" And then "sudo apt-get purge grub grub-pc grub-common" It asked if I really...

Thank you very much! Also thank you for your post on your entry level build. If it weren't for your BIOS and Multibeast settings, this would not have been so easy for me to do. :D

Does the TL-WDN4800 work with the H97N?

The TL-WDN4800 is a PCIe. The H97N has 1 PCI and 1 Mini PCIe I think. That would mean it would not fit anywhere unless you got some additional hardware, I think. If that is the case the buyer's guide for the CustoMacMini should be looked at. The original onboard wifi takes up the Mini PCIe slot...
