Back in 2013 or so I had successfully built a Hackintosh using the GA-Z77X-UD5H motherboard and i5 3570k Ivy Bridge CPU.
I was considering making another Hackintosh on High Sierra with those 2 parts and the 32gb of DDR3 RAM. I recently failed when using an NVIDIA GTX 1050 due to being unable to...
I have installed Yosemite, Mavericks, and Mountain Lion on Hackintoshes several times with success but never Lion so this is new to me.
This build previously had OS X Yosemite installed on it but my client needs OS X 10.7 to run an older version of Pro Tools.
The BIOS has been configured to...
I recently did a fresh install of OS X and did everything like usual.
Before doing the fresh install, the Green audio port was working.
I installed OS X using my Unibeast USB and then ran Multibeast after the successful installation.

I deleted the...
Thank you very much! Also thank you for your post on your entry level build. If it weren't for your BIOS and Multibeast settings, this would not have been so easy for me to do. :D

Minimalistic CustoMacMini based on the most affordable components from the November 2014 Buyer's Guide
Components
Gigabyte GA-H97N-WiFi (Mini-ITX) - Amazon US | Newegg
Intel Core i3-4350 - Amazon US | Newegg...
The TL-WDN4800 is a PCIe. The H97N has 1 PCI and 1 Mini PCIe I think. That would mean it would not fit anywhere unless you got some additional hardware, I think. If that is the case the buyer's guide for the CustoMacMini should be looked at.
The original onboard wifi takes up the Mini PCIe slot...
