Triple Boot Help - Remove GRUB from OS X drive

(Title changed to: Triple Boot Help - Remove GRUB from OS X drive)
I have OS X 10.10, Windows 7, and Ubuntu 14 on 3 separate SSDs.

I initially installed Ubuntu on the same SSD as OS X but accidentally overwrote the MBR of the drive.

I deleted the Ubuntu partition but now when booting, GRUB goes into rescue mode (I'm assuming that it is looking for the old Ubuntu install that no longer exists).

I just want to have Chimera back and working again.

I can only access the OS X install if I boot with the Unibeast drive.

How can I remove GRUB from the MBR of the OS X drive?

To install Chimera, you need a running OSX.

Have you got a install stick (Chimera or Clover) to boot to OSX again?
Can you anywhere create one on a OSX-machine?

With only the affected drive connected, boot Ubuntu from the Live DVD
open terminal and run these commands:

apt-get update

this confirms internet access

apt-get purge grub grub-pc grub-common

this purges grub totally from your HDD

Hi thank you for your response.

I tried what you advised but it did not work.

I unplugged all other drives except for the OS X drive and booted from my Ubuntu USB.

I opened up terminal and ran "sudo apt-get update"

And then "sudo apt-get purge grub grub-pc grub-common"

It asked if I really wanted to delete GRUB from /boot/grub/ and typed "y" for yes.

It appeared to go through properly on Ubuntu, but I rebooted and booted from the Unibeast drive, selected OS X, re-installed the Chimera bootloader through Multibeast, rebooted but still got the "Grub Rescue" screen.

Would I be formatting the OS X drive and re-installing it through Unibeast? If there is no other way I am willing to do that since I would just need to re-install apps.

If not, what else could I try?

Yes. I have a Unibeast USB stick and that is currently the only way to get into my OS X install. Even when trying to install other bootloaders while on OS X, I am having no luck.

You could boot in to OSX, download Clover, make a Clover-boot USB-Stick. (see my link above).
If this can boot OSX -> install it to the EFI -partition (not MBR!!!).
In Bios you have to change to the new boot -device (EFI).

If done correctly, you dont do any harm to MBR or your installation.
