My machine ran from roughly 2016 to October 2019 continuously with no problems. Then I upgraded from macOS 10.12.4 or something to 10.12.6 and also upgrade Clover and it stopped booting. I had upgraded 10.12 several times before and only needed to update my Nvidia web driver, and also upgraded Clover several times along the way with no problems. But now it won't boot.
When booting the progress bar gets slower and slower after getting halfway across, and then just stops at the last little bit. When booted in verbose mode, the last thing I see is an AppleACPICPU timeout before it either hangs indefinitely or reboots. None of the threads on AppleACPICPU seemed to help and I'm kind of stumped. I let this go for a few years because I was really busy with school, and because I haven't really tinkered with it since I built it, I'm a little rusty on the troubleshooting et al.
I'd really appreciate any help I can get here. I have combed through at least 20 threads dealing with power management, ACPICPU, kernel panics, etc. and can't figure this out. I tried re-installing from my USB stick (the recovery disk won't boot either) so I think either there is something wrong with my configuration (which would be weird since I didn't change anything) or something got borked with the kexts or Clover when I upgraded.
Here is my system: Asrock X99 Extreme4 motherboard with an i7-5820k, AMD RX580 and Nvidia GTX960 graphics cards. I tried the RadeonDeInit statement in my config.plist as advised by F!0r!an just in case the jump to 10.12.6 made the ATI driver get squirrely. I tried booting without DSDTs and SSDTs in case one of them was messing up the power management and causing the kernel panic. Everything runs fine in Windows, but I did not build this thing to be stuck with Windows.
My config.plist and two photos of the verbose startup are enclosed (sorry about not capturing a text log).
Any suggestions or ideas are welcome.
