    What I loose by using 2600k instead 3770k on Z77 ?

Since I can't find performance improvement on 3770k, I will go with 2600k on Z77 and 6870 which is PCIe 2.0, so I don't need the 3rd version suported by Ivy. I loose someting else ? USB 3 integrated on chipset is independent of the inserted CPU type, right ?

Huge News! Gigabyte UEFI Sleep/Wake with NO DSDT! [TESTING]

And the dual graphic support on Z77 it's not the only difference. On H77 you don#t have support for overclocking. Then, it doesn't worth to go on H77 from Z68 because you lose the overclocking support on the H77 chip. And the main reason I would go to Z77 is the native support for Power...

Huge News! Gigabyte UEFI Sleep/Wake with NO DSDT! [TESTING]

I want to build my Hack on this mainboard. Will be developer-music system and I don't need onboard audio since I'll use Apogee Duet on a TI firewire PCIe. I understand it's not safe to make decision until apple release the new mac series. But I'm not sure why you think that since you already...

    2 x 8GB Stick or 4 x 4GB Stick for Lion ?

Hi, I saw that you need to buy 4 x 4GB RAM sticks (if you need 16GB) to install Snow Leopard since you have to install only with max 4GB RAM inserted in mainboard at the installing runtime. The question is: this is also valid for Lion install or I can buy 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance ? Thank you

Hi, I plan a system for OSX and I'm curios if it's a driver difference between 6870 1GB and 6870 2GB and if the 2GB version would work good. Anyone who have the 6870 2Gb version ?
