2 x 8GB Stick or 4 x 4GB Stick for Lion ?

Hi,

I saw that you need to buy 4 x 4GB RAM sticks (if you need 16GB) to install Snow Leopard since you have to install only with max 4GB RAM inserted in mainboard at the installing runtime.

The question is: this is also valid for Lion install or I can buy 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance ?
