Since I can't find performance improvement on 3770k, I will go with 2600k on Z77 and 6870 which is PCIe 2.0, so I don't need the 3rd version suported by Ivy.

I loose someting else ? USB 3 integrated on chipset is independent of the inserted CPU type, right ?

i7 2xxxk - 32nm - 95 Watt - HD 2500/3000 graphic HD video output & DX 10.x - PCI 2.x chipset - default DDR3-1333 RAM

i7 3770k - 22nm - 77 Watt - HD 4000 graphic supports until 4K video output (the cpu/chip but not the mainboard vendors) ;-) ... & DX11.x - PCI 3.x chipset - default DDR3 1600 RAM, ... also there should be better video transcoding support and there should be better encryption/decryption support, you may look for openssl and video transcoding benchmarks or reviews.
