Article: Chimera 3.0 Update
I got it installed.
I booted to my "admin" partition and installed chimera on every partition that showed up in the list during install. Rebooted to "osx" partition and now I get:
Chimera 3.0.1 Branch of Chameleon 2.2svn (svn-r2378) [2014-05-07 22:23:11]
CPU...
Interesting. not sure what I did wrong. The version I used was from:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=223
and i verified that I installed to the correct partition. Is Chimera/Chameleon installed to the disk or a specific partition? I have an "admin" and "osx" partition...
I used the latest Chimera 3.0.1 as of 5/18. Is the following correct as far as version information? I don't see chameleon based off svn-r2378; CPU frequencies are still off.
$ bdmesg | head -15
Chameleon 2.2svn (svn-r2371) [2014-02-02 16:58:41]

DSDTs are sensitive to the version of firmware on the motherboard. It is possible that you are on version F3. This guide was on version F2.
If you still haven't pulled all your hair out getting Toleda's stuff to work, you might be able to switch to the old BIOS--if they have not updated your...
You can get a free download of windows from Microsoft. (google: windows evalcenter) You can install that into the partition you intend to install OSX.
Install Windows
Install Thunderbolt Drivers
Verify Thunderbolt works with Windows
Install OSX on the windows partition
Once you verify...
I finally figured out my self-start-after-power-off issue...
The short story is that I cleared BIOS by loading defaults and making changes to reflect my configuration. After doing this, I had no start issues after shutting down the system.
As a side note, after the load-defaults, I noticed...
It seems like your motherboard cannot see the video cards at all. you should see something in the device manager in windows. check the motherboard manual and verify that you don't have the slots turned off... there are dip switches that will disable the slots without requiring you to remove...
The very next time I shutdown... the system started up again. I verified that the above 3 were disabled. I am using the i217-v ethernet port.
Is there any chance USB would wake the system? I have my monitor (which has a usb hub built in) connected (with USB wacom tablet plugged into that)...
OK! now I have wake on lan disabled for 1) ethernet 1 2) ethernet 2, and 3) Preferences -> energy saver
I had only one of the ethernet ports disabled before. -px
After upgrading to 10.9.2 the problem I'm having is that the computer shuts down, but after 10 seconds it will startup as if I pressed power button again. This happens about 30% of the time.

You can follow the steps in the first post from the point where chameleon is used. Just follow the SMBios steps (not the Modules steps).
JBrisbin's steps works, too. It's nice to know what goes on behind the scenes.

Just upgraded to 10.9.2... so far so good. will report back if I notice any issues. I used procedure from here:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/407-os-x-10-9-2-update.html
Update 1: I had some weird issues with iMessage. I could not authenticate... and other errors. After installing 10.9.2, I...
Best wishes with your new computer-- once wifi and bluetooth work, this will be a nirvana of tonymacx86 boards... I'll use this one for a while, but I always prefer 2 physical CPUs: better UI responsiveness.
