Trackpad response time is truly terrible.

Yes, looks like a perfect substitute of that taobao stuff, but not so perfect when looking at the price of $50 =) versus $13 for the green converter +$4 for a separate BT chip.

Yes, perfect! Didn't see they sell it too. In this case you can use BCM94352Z (no AE) too.

UPDATE 1 Low signal of the BT can be fixed by soldering to it an external antenna (one wire to one side of the chip and another wire to another side of the chip, RX/TX). As a result, BT improved x5 times, interference with wifi lowered in x2 times. I have also rearranged Wifi antennas. Seems...

Hey guys, I just want to share my own approach of getting Bluetooth and WiFi in this laptop. Thanks to everyone, who contributed to this too. Let's summarize what we need (assuming you, as a reader, as I am, have no access to TaoBao online store, so we'll use what's available from ebay)...

Disregard, I wifi card was a bit shifted from the socket. Now I get 80 Mbps over 2.4 AP.

I'm getting no more than 10 Mbps on BCM94352Z card. What is the problem? It's not antennas, as even within 10 inches of router, speed doesn't change.

Then what is the reason why it can't be enabled by id injection/faking? At least wi-fi.

Just wanted to make an update regarding that mysterious 4G LTE slot on the mobo, which is so teasing the eye of everyone. I have performed all tests with it and I can officially confirm that slot is a WHOLE FACTORY MISTAKE. 1) First of all it's a total design failure, 99% of existing LTE M.2...

Yeah, bought a wrong card, yesterday re-ordered a BCM94352ZAE Thanks for amazing list, printed. What is the difference between BCM94356Z and BCM94352Z ? Besides of location of antenna connectors. And why 356 can't be just fixed with injecting the ID (I tried but didn't work)?

Installed Broadcom BCM94356Z and it's successfully not picked up. FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext didn't help (these kexts show up in the list as "Not loaded").

I soldered the socket in, and yeah, SSD I tried to put wasn't recognized. However, if you noticed, after you install a new hardware or swap something, initially the splash screen appears twice, same happened here, meaning I soldered socket correctly. Windows saw it as "Unrecognized device". I...

Well, Insyde offers a deep customization for vendors, the base is "H20" but seems Xiaomi requested a custom lock for advanced menu. In other laptops it can be unlocked by pressing Fn+Tab 3 times and F10 afterwards, after re-entry to bios you could see Advanced tab, but all these tricks not...

[Guide] Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro High Sierra 10.13.6

Because Bios needs to be unlocked, there is an advanced menu where that switching thing can be disabled. Is it customized InsydeH20? However, unlock request seems stuck https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Xiaomi-Mi-Notebook-Pro It's easy to unpack BIN file of the bios, but I have no idea what...
