Hey guys I am revitalizing one of my machines that has a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD5 Motherboard, Sandy Bridge Processor and a PNY GTX 770 4GB Graphics card. I can get the machine to boot up with GraphicsEnabler=No, but I am having trouble determining if the graphics card is really doing its job...
I have a Motu 896 Mk3 Firewire 400 (not the hybrid) working on mulitple OS versions with no problems (10.7.x,10.8.x,10.9.x).
Motherboard -Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD5
CPU- Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz
Memory - 16GB 4x4 Gskill DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Solid State Drive - Samsung...
Yea i recently updated from 10.7.1 straight to 10.7.3 with the stock onboard sandy bridge graphics and now its doing same thing you said with the white lines popping up ever so often. Not a huge deal to me because I am gonna be getting an actual graphics card, but i would be nice to know why...
I have the same exact board only that i am running a 2600k.
I am running no graphics card just the built in intel graphics.
Just take that video card out and you will boot.
Just make sure you type in GraphicsEnabler=no at the bootloader
I was able to have full resolution after running...
