Thank you! Grabbed the kext from Multibeast via Pacifist – and it worked. Though loading bar stops midway during boot. However, got in through -f.

Get stuck at the Apple logo with the loading bar, when rebooting from the USB and choosing my existing drive (step 7 in the guide) - the bar doesn't fill up. Even after waiting 30+min, bar is still empty. Tried some boot flags (-f, -x, npci=3000, GraphicsEnabler=No, maxmem=4096, PCIRootUID=0)...

As I mentioned in the edit of the original post: Gave up on trying to find a solution for Snow Leopard, so I just went ahead and upgraded to Lion, and the graphics card is working out of the box with my user DSDT installation.
