I figured this problem out once before but it took me along time. I remember going into some files and changing some things after the install was complete. For some reason I maybe remember changing a graphics enabler or something to a NO or a YES but whatever it was I changed allowed me to boot...
The only ports that work with OSX for the hard drive and the optical drive are the Sata 6.0 ports. Why is that? This makes it where I can only have one optical drive showing due to me only having two of these Sata 6.0 ports.

I got the USB working. It was odd because my usb keyboard and mouse were both working. I just deleted the extra folder and played around with multibeast a little more.
I updated from 10.6 to 10.6.8 and ran the IOUSB family and rollback kexts before restart of the combo update. My wireless keyboard and mouse work just fine off the USB wireless router but my thumb drives, and dvd rom drive aren't showing up. This is all I need to fix before updating to Lion. Any...
Ok I reinstalled SL, updated it to 10.6.8 and ran easy beast along with the rollback kext in multibeast. Restarted and still nothing. No usb or dvd rom showing up. What should I try next?
