I cloned my working Sierra SSD drive to a new SSD drive using SuperDuper. I am unable to boot from the cloned drive. I have to boot from the original drive and select the new drive in clover. Once it boots, it works fine.
I tried installing multibeast again but no luck. Is there something else...
I had this issue when I built my Lion/ Win7 machine. Try this:
Have both drives mounted into the system and boot using your installer.
when you get into the installer, go to Disk Utility and select the system drive and click unmount. Exit Disk Utility.
Open Terminal and type: dd...
I installed Mavericks on this board and everything is working except for ethernet. I installed the RealtekRTL81xx-0_0_90 kext from multibeast. Is there something else that I can try to get it working?
Has anyone used software update? Is there anything I should know before trying the update...
I can't find the extra/extensions folder in my installer. I clicked on shop package contents and did not see the folder anywhere.
Do I need to do this before running unibeast and bridgehelper?
I have the same problem. I installed Bridgehelper to my usb and when I get into the installer, I cannot see my HD in Disk Utility. It is set to AHCI and I can see it in my BIOS. The Drive has Lion on it and it still shows in the bootloader. I tried swapping SATA ports but that didn't help...
When I connect my new ML machine to my network, it will not file share with the other machines. My other 2 computers (SnowLeopard) and PC have no problem file sharing. I have turned on File Sharing but the Mountain Lion cannot recognize the SnowLeopard machine. The SnowLeopard can recognize and...
I'm having the same issue but I'm using an Asus P8H77 board with an i5-3570K cpu. When in verbose mode, it flashes too quickly to see what the problem is. I have another build (Asus p8p67 an i5 2500K) that worked perfectly.
I built a dual boot Lion and Windows 7 system using Multibeast and I built my own wireless card using these instructions.
Everything was working great until a few days ago. My wireless is suddenly really slow on both Lion and Win7 boots. If I use a cable directly to the router, it is fine and...
I have dual boot Lion & Win7 installed on separate drives. When I boot into Lion, my Windows drive is read only and I cannot change it in the Get Info box like I usually do with other drives or folders. Is there a way that I can write to this drive while in Lion? I have a Dell netbook with a SL...
I had the same problem and I think the only way to fix is to re-install Win7. I followed the advice from this thread: https://tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?t=44314&p=280087 and it now works perfectly.
I formatted the Win7 drive in the Win7 installer. I tried hitting the right arrow in chimera but I only see 2 partitions. Lion and Windows NTFS. I do see the System Reserved partition in the diskutil list in terminal. Is there a way to make it visible in chimera?
Thanks. It worked. I found that post and had tried that after I created this post but it didn't work since I already had the old dsdt file loaded. I started over and did what you said and it works. Thanks!
