I also want to get scrolling to work with my touchpad. I have a elan touchpad, what do you mean by "try adding the Device ID of the elan touchpad to the Info.plist of the ApplePS2Trackpad.kext"
Also you might have trouble getting the wifi to work along with gestures for the trackpad. Pretty sure your laptop like mine uses Intels Wifi which mac doesn't support so most likely you'll have to buy a USB Wifi Adapter. I have the Samsung RF511 model and these are the issues I've ran into.
Atleast you gave it shot. Thanks for that. I've tried atleast 4 or 5 different kext. Each one allows me to use the touchpad, just no gestures. Well, hopefully someone releases a kext soon.
Does anyone know if there's a kext to get Gestures to work. I tried pretty much everyone I could find. All them let me use my touchpad just not use gestures.
I have this laptop with Lion 10.7.3 and everything is working except wifi and gestures for the touchpad. I ordered a USB wifi adapter so that'll make it 99% working. I don't have to use the rBoot disc or anything. Boots right from the HDD.
Are you using iBoot or rBoot? iBoot is strictly for snow leopard. rBoot works for both. I've had problems booting with usb method also but rBoot seem to work fine.
I've tried but xMove and the unibeast method and I'm still having this problem. When go to install Lion, the installation window pops up. I can move my mouse around but it doesn't let me click. It forces me to wait about 20 mins, then it lets me click and I can continue the installation. Same...
Anyone know why Lion 10.7.3 forces me to wait over 20 mins before it lets me click. I can move the mouse around, just can't click anything. Same thing with the keyboard. Also I notice when it finally lets me click my color calibrations kick in and they're how I had them set. Everything else is...
I typed those commands in, got stuck at this screen
Also I'm able to boot on the second installation I did on my other partition. Only problem is I can't click anything. It forces me to wait like 20 mins or so every time it boots, then it finally lets me click.
Will do. I'm trying to re install it now on a different partition I have here and when the installer came up my mouse wouldn't let me click. I had to wait for the installer to to the next step by itself which took about 20 mins. Now I've had this problem before but when I tried installing over...
