Thank u for ur response
To be completely honest I am confused myself because I keep seeing both the Broadcom and the intel card on my system info and Hackintool. I just tried using the kexts u told me and nothing changed. still the same thing is shown on system info. I will probably use linux...
Wifi doesn't work at all with AirportBrcmFixup.kext
However with AirportItlwm.kext it works flawlessly.
I have tried using airportbrcmkext by following the guide u attached without results
So I managed to install Ventura 13.4 on my laptop (specs on my profile info) and got both graphics and audio to work perfectly. However I can't get bluetooth to work at all. I've tried doing what the open core guide says OC (0.9.3) without any results. Wi-Fi works just by using the...
oh. So I found a solution to that. Yes when I posted it my usb ports weren’t mapped. (They are now) and the GT710 is from my old configuration. I forgot to update my profile information.
Anyways I found a solution thanks to a ****** post. I have posted it here on a similar thread I opened. If...
Yeah, so I am running macOS Big Sur on an Optiplex 7020 sff (i5-4690T) using the onboard graphics (HD4600). I followed the Dortania post install guide for iGPU patching but when I boot for the first 15-25 seconds the mouse and keyboard are extremely laggy. After that time period everything is...
Ok so I know this question is kinda dumb but I'm still gonna post it.
I just successfully installed macOS Big Sur on an optiplex 7020 (I5 4690T + 8gb ram) I am currently using the iGPU with the DisplayPort connector the motherboard has and it's working just fine (only need to make some...
I tried every id and only 11 somewhat worked. The one I used all along. I believe it's some kind of IRQ conflict. Do you know anything about how to patch them?
Hello. I run MacOS 10.15.7 and everything is working fine except audio and microphone. When watching YouTube on safari for example the sound is distorted. On chrome it's fine. When I am on a zoom or Skype call people can't hear me at all and sometimes audio is distorted for me too. When I use...
My cpu is the xeon equivalent to your cpu. Also Opencore has created a section for our CPUs. Try following it first because I use some custom patches that probably won't be right for your system.
OC guide https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/config.plist/penryn.html#starting-point...
Hey, its an odd thing that happens only on HID devices while USB is working (only on core duo or similar systems)
just add this patch on your config as shown in the picture (if you edit with proper tree type will be number instead of integer.
Or you can copy paste this lines of code instead of...
Hey. My codec is ADI1984 and I an running High Sierra. I suggest you to make a bootable usb with open core and try there previous versions or patches. This way you won't break your installation
Hey. No the patch unfortunately didn't work. But I got rid of the delay by using an ancient version of AppleALC (1.2.8)
I am attaching the vanilla file. My computer boots fast in like 15-20 secs.
Incase anyone has the same problem. I have fixed the boot delay but the sound distortion still exists. I just used an old applealc version (1.2.8). I attached the kext. It is untouched.
