I absolutely do!
I own a 2.7ghz mid 2011 mac mini and a G4 Cube. The latest mac mini blew me away with its speed and its ability to expand due to thunderbolt technology. Unfortunately it was so beautifully designed at such a good price that it kind of killed my desire to continue pursuing a...
AW, frak it all to hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't help myself. I am getting a new mac mini. Core i7, thunderbolt, AMD graphics, no optical drive, count me in. I can't remember the last time I actually burned or used optical media on my mac. This concludes my foray into the hackintosh...
Yeah, the newest i3 2120 cpus are really fast. It will more than do what I need at and consume little power in the process. The SSD does have good performance from what I have read. It is a 6 gb/s drive. The cooler will have no trouble fitting in that case. It also passes the passive...
I have put this build together on Amazon and I would like y'all to let me know if there is anything I should consider or that I am overlooking. This is my first SB hackintosh. I intend to purchase it all in the next few days. BTW, I am intending to get two of the 1.5TB drives so that I can...
That sure does sound like it would be a nice feature.
On a slightly different note, is this guide for setting up booting from the EFI partition still the proper way to accomplish that task?

I only ask because I see that the guide has not...
I vote for the FT03. It is a nice box with cube like sexy lines that doesn't make you feel like you bought a junker. Overall it has gotten great reviews and is one of the few cases out there that has been designed to be able to go completely passively cooled. I don't like huge unwieldy cases...
You are all talking about USB being really slow, so it should not be used as a boot drive; however, how about the case of USB 3.0. The speed USB 3.0 sports is more on par with SATA. I do not see how it would make any difference in performance if you used 3.0. Any thoughts?
Wow, cool series that features iBoot and Multibeast! Did Popsci contact you about the series or ask for your input in any regard, or was it a completely independent effort on their part. I wouldn't be surprised if others want to write similar features. You tech is the best. I can't wait for...
I am glad that you had so much success in getting your SH55J2 working so well. I was curious, do you plan to allow your PCI slot to lie fallow? I was talking to another Shuttle hackintosh enthusiast about potentially adding USB 3.0 to a SH55J2 through the PCI slot. We thought a single slot...
Wow, I thought you might be able to shed some light as to why that thread disappeared off of insanelymac. Did one of the admins wipe it for some reason or did it just become unwieldy and redundant to the point that it needed a fresh start? Oh well, thanks for all of the effort you all put into...
