What is the exact resolution of your monitor? I had a lot of monitor connectivity problems when i had my hackintosh hooked up to a non full HD or 'HD Ready' monitor.

I use a LG Flatron E2351 for my desktop monitor and connect via DVI. I hooked the HDMI up to my Vizio HDtv to basically stream movies and sporting events.

I reckon its the Hdmi port on the TV causing the issue. Have you tried a different HDMI port on the tele. Whats the model/Year of the TV?

If you can get to your system preferences, go to display and adjust the overscan very slightly. That fixed my scrambled screen.

My system does not sleep oob. I have the same board and a i3 3225 processor.

The system will sleep but won't wake. I have to do a hard restart. But when I do I get a bios recovery! Then I have to change all my settings again. I'm on F5.

Im used same motherboard for my build

Here is my build:
GA-B75M-D3P
INTEL CORE I7-3770
HYPERX 1600MHZ 16GB RAM
SEAGATE BARACUDA 4TB
HYPERX KINGSTON 120GB SSD
LG FLATRON 23´ TV/MONITOR via HDMI
DUAL BOOT WINDOWS AND ML 10.8.4(with Fusion Drive)

I had the same scrambled problem in my tv/monitor a couple of things you should try are, im using HDMI not DVI:

On my multibeast im selecting the options for 1080p display
Also set back to 64mb of video memory shared on my BIOS since my problem started when i increased this.
Also set my monitor from 60hertz to 50hertz.

I havent seen the issue so far

BTW, If you want to have cpu speedsteps on your configuration. i changed my definition from imac to macmini 6,2 then generated the new ssdt file using the ssdtprgen.command and rename the result aml file to it as ssdt.aml and paste it on the extra folders of the boot systems.

I currently have for my cpu x16, x21, x28, x34, x37

Turboboost its working fine since when i7 use turboboost on all 4 cores it generates 3.7ghz, you will get only 3.9ghz if the cpu use 1 or 2 cores.

Hi all

Has anyone successfully updated to 10.9 yet? i've managed to install it on a separate partition just so i can test it and iron out any issues.

All seems to be working apart from the following:

Auto sleep, i was using the pleassleep app but this isn't compatible with Mavericks but i believe the developer is working on an update. Does anyone know of an alternative method to get auto sleep working?

iMessage isn't working, anyone got this working?

I can't update to the new iPhoto,iMovie etc as it says that my previous version was bought with a different apple id, however my current ilife apps where installed from an iLife DVD. any ideas?

Thanks

Hello, I now have everything working again on Mavericks.

PleaseSleep has been updated to 10.9 so this now solves my sleep issue. I did run in to another sleep issue where my HDMI output was preventing sleep. When I was running Mountain Lion I did the HDMI audio patch so I could play audio from my hackintosh through to my TV. I just copied this patched file straight over to 10.9, deleted HDAEnabler1.kext, ran kextbeast, rebooted and HDMI audio works and sleep behaves as usual.

I solved the iMessage problem by following these instructions and using FileNVRAM 1.1.2.

How to Fix iMessage

I managed to update my iLife apps sucessfully by updating them on my old iMac and then once i sign into the App Store on my hackintosh they updated no problem.

Hello,

Has anyone had any success updating to 10.10.2 Yosemite? I tried the app store and combo update with no luck, I'm currently running 10.10.0.

cheers

Yeah. I have.

First, have a UniBeast stick ready for booting purposes.

The update via the app store and let it restart. First there's a very quick installation then the system reboots. It's at this point you need to use your UniBeast stick to boot from and select your Yosemite drive. This is when the bulk of the installation happens. It will then reboot after installation and you can research the rest.

I have a clover setup but this is the only way it would work for me. I kept getting the White apple logo for a long time followed by a reboot.

Let me know if it works.
