Is your CPU really i3-2350M or you just "guess" or "believe"?

How did you check your CPU name?

I BELIEVE that your belief is completely wrong:lol:

How do I use Clover Configurator exactly. I mount my EFI partition and the config but still the Clover Configurator is empty.. :-/

Use it to open /EFI/Clover/config.plist

1. it has ProBook 4440s written on the screens bezel
2 it has i3 sticker on the chasis
3 it is a 2.3 ghz ((acording to about this mac))(which is the lowest of the 4440s (go figure my school gave it to me free)

If you like I can pull the bottom and see if I can read the mobo, but I dont have the screw driver to remove the star hex screws inside... (btw i also put in an atheros so wifi works) ((Not as brain dead as you may think... Just don't know crap about mac but I am trying to learn.))

i3 can be 1st gen, Sandy Bridge, IvyBridge or Haswell, how do you believe it's SandyBridge?

And CPU name is not written on the mobo.

Use cpuz to figure out your cpu model

You were right. after finding a program called cpuid it told me that i had an ivy bridge, and that was the entire problem i was having with install... all problems are solved now... thank you so very much for helping me... I was just so sure that this was a sandy as all the specs pointed to it but I never really knew the mobo's # sorry I was probably such a big pain in the ass... I do really appreciate your help and patience. =)

I have a 4440s I believe it is sandy bridge, if I am wrong about that I suppose that could be the problem it is the i3 version... oh and battery is not working getting x'd out battery as well....

Not Sandy Bridge.

From your bootlog:
Code:
0:448 0:000 BrandString = Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3110M CPU @ 2.40GHz

Your ioreg and bootlog also shows no patched DSDT.

Note: You probably could have rescued your original install. But not when you're making guesses about basic hardware details.

All of this problems would have been fixed 2 days ago if you post troubleshooting files earlier:yawn:
