Thanks! Combo Link added.

A few things about the update-

1. It fixes the Pstates read issue with SJ's DPCIManager.
2. Intel HD 4600 graphics now show VRAM (Dynamic, Max): 1536 MB instead of 1024 MB
3. New monitor icon in System Profiler view

Intel HD 4600 is not working for me. Showing only 7mb. No kext loaded. ;-(

Cuda 6.0.46 update available

I was able to verify that my MBP 15 inch Retina display laptop IS able to do MST now. 3840x2160x60hz

It previously was not able to do so.

Thanks,

Gigabyte UP5-TH, i7 3770k - 2 x Nvidia GTX 660 Ti 3GB. After update DisplayPort does't work. HDMI works but as I have a 21:9 3440 x 1440 LG 34UM95 display only getting 50Hz. Before update DisplayPort worked great at this resolution at 60Hz. Any ideas please.... Tried disable internal graphics/GraphicEnableNo/OS Driver and new Nvidia WebDriver. Thanks!

Article: OS X 10.9.3 Update

10.9.3 combo update failed completely on my setup (same loss of monitor output on boot as has been so prevalently reported), and I had to revert to 10.9.2

My hardware is listed in my profile, along w/ an LG 34UM95 3440x1440 monitor connected via display port 1.2.

What I tried:

MB 6.2.2 + HDA892 + Trim
Chameleon 3.0.1

org.chameleon.Boot.plist

  • GraphicsEnabler=No (this has always been in use, and I didn't bother changing it to "Yes", b/c its use doesn't cover the problem at hand)
  • PCIRootUID=0/1
  • nvda_drv=1 (using nVidia web drivers)
  • UseKernalCache=No
System Profiles

  • MacPro 3,1
  • iMac 14,2
Also

  • Installed the newest web drivers using Pacifist (I had previously used only the OS X drivers)
  • -x to try to boot safe mode fails.
  • The usual (sudo diskutil repairPermissions /) etc.
  • Disabling Intel graphics in the bios
I have a few guesses, but as I'm not familiar w/ low-level / kernel code, I can't be sure. For one, it could be the odd resolution of my monitor. Also, I had an unknown issue w/ my previous installation that caused a message "There were errors, pausing 5 seconds" or some such. This never led to identifiable problems, but it could have something to do w/ the failure here.

I have since done a fresh install w/ values that I know to work well since I have patched my bios. This has simplified my Multibeast configuration to include only: ALC892, 3rd Party + Trim, CMOS.

I've also installed the nVidia web drivers just for testing. The system in 10.9.2 is very stable now, with sleep working perfectly using darkwake=8, and full speedstep support on a 4.4GHz overclock. I'm going to clone this install and give 10.9.3 another shot soon.

Any additional elucidation of the graphics problems might prove very helpful.

Thanks!

Seems like we're in the same boat (GTX 670 + 34UM95 here, see post above). I didn't try HDMI, which is something I was planning to do, but decided I wanted to stabilize my install and clone it before trying again. I'm hoping we can come to a resolution (****, no pun intended) on this matter, b/c I don't really want to deal w/ 50Hz.

Hi all,
I've a problem with audio that doesn't work any more after update to mavericks 10.9.3 on my hackintosh
For that I've read is something concerning audio kexts that are overwritten.
i'don't know what to do to solve the problem and of what I've to be carefully after a new update on my hackintosh
Thanks

I suspect it's something other than the resolution of the 34UM95. This monitor is fully supported by mac before update worked perfectly under 10.9.2

Yo. First specs:
asrock pro4 z77, proc i5 3450;
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2gb SC;
HDD x 3.
3 monitors, one is on HDMI.

After the 10.9.3 update:
Restart did not work. Had to restart with -x.
Audio not working, graphics seems working, but flickering.
Reinstalled audio kexts with newest multibeast.
Still no audio, still flickering, still no normal restart.
Deleted all the intelHD and ATIRadeon kexts. (have a list if interested.)
WORKS!
Audio there, graphics with no flickering, restart works perfectly.

That's it, smooth sailing ahead!

Note: It might have been not necessary to reinstall audio.
Nnext time I will delete the kexts first and then see if everything just starts working again.
