HP ProBook Installer 6.1: 4x30s and 4x40s support

Ok, i Will try this, i will install it from multibeast and tell u if it is ok

10X

I did like u suggested, i did an install from the Multibeast installer and now I can see the cpupower in the /extensions directory, although I am still not sure if this fixed the problem, but now i can boot without the cpupower kernel panic

In the attach is my latest ioreg, pls feel free to check it and tell if now i am OK

P.S. sorry to bother with other issues that i have:

1. when I boot to mavericks which with my SSD drive is about 8 sec max, I still have to wait for my atheros card to initialize about 14 sec (do not know is this is normal or not, as my memory serves me well the atheros worked instantly and had an IP when i typed the password and didnt need to wait for it to initialize)

2. still getting the no sound issue when listening on headphones and need to manualy plug in and out the jack so I get the sound back

If I can fix all of these SMALL issues I really do not see the point for us to remake the PBI or find alternative installer, because i will have the perfect 100% working hackintosh . . . .

Thank you for making my mac as sweet as the knowledge of this wondrefull community

Best regards,

ringov

I assume you mean Atheros WiFi. Yes, WiFi takes a while to initialize...

2. still getting the no sound issue when listening on headphones and need to manualy plug in and out the jack so I get the sound back

Sounds like a hardware problem...

It will be interesting to see if anyone else reports a similar problem with the headphone jack. You could always try a different set. Is static electricity a problem where you are?

What do u mean by trying a different set ?

I do not think it is static, I have a notebook :) it is possible I messed with vodoohda trying to get better sound quality and this is the side effect i got :)

Again i think this is not a issue worth fixing, so far i was able to get the perfect system i needed, 10x to the powermanagemant help u gave me

Waiting on 10.9.3 where they say there will be sound improvements, same goes for graphics too . . .

Notebook or desktop, static electricity is still carried/discharged from human beings.

We do not use VoodooHDA on the ProBook. If you installed it, you should remove it.

It is possible that the sound issue was related to software in my safari browser

For now i didnt get any sound disconections while listening on hedphones

10x again for helping

the sound issue is also a mac issue.
i also got it, but i believe it happens when 2 services want to use it, like skype.
otherwise i dont have this problem

This is the best correct answer ever, i only have it when skype is online otherwise it works ok

10x for sharing

Is the lack of bass in sound also a mac issue ? It seems the sound in windows has more treble and bass, in general richer sound . I have found third party solutions like Boom! but i'm hesitant to install it
