please don't misunderstand,I'm not being disrespectful to u.....
this is the issue:
the board is capable of outputting hi res audio, but the system driver(kext) only works @ 44.1
using the midi applet,
i did notice that on system info screen under audio
devices
built in in out etc(this is what the system is apparently using)
but it also shows..
intel high definition audio
(audio id: 1)
connections etc.

i believe this is the reason I'm not getting bitrates above 44.1
sorry if i pissed anyone off.....

the only reason its an issue for me is a have many hi-res music files, and on windows 8.1
they sound amazing(I'm also an audio geek)on my reference audio systems...

btw there is a noticeable sound difference with high bitrate (96k and up) streams as apposed to e.g. 320kb streams...

http://www.2l.no/hires/index.html < check these out(classical music)but the sound is incredible...
its free btw..

Both are required; devices are codec audio devices and intel high definition audio are user audio devices.
If Audio MIDI Setup shows 3 Formats and only 44.1 works, likely, a codec problem.

thanks i figured that somthing wasnt quite right....
could it be a hardware issue? or is applehda.kext not patched correctly?
if there is a solution what is needed by me for help on this..

it appears that 44.1 & 48k works,but not 96k odd...

Hardware, perhaps.
Bad patch results in no audio. If you can make the selection, the problem is not software.
Suggestions, fresh install. If problem persists, RMA the motherboard.

Hello Im trying to patch the AppleHDA to get it with my ALC 275 codec working. Could anyone help me?

Hi toleda,

i own the following notebook:
description: Notebook
product: 2349N7G (LENOVO_MT_2349)
vendor: LENOVO
version: ThinkPad T430
serial: PB3HX7L

I used a voodooHDA.kext to enable Speaker, Headphone (very noisy). But my mic does not work.
I searched for the chip but found just this
HD Audio (Realtek® ALC3202)

DPCIManager shows:
0x80861E20 (Audi Device) 0x17AA21F3 (Subdevice) - and the rest is empty.

Is there a way to get my audio working correct with mic?

Thanks in advance!
