Im having the same issues. I have changed my apple password as well as i have a credit card on file and still no go. I get the failure to activate error. Not sure what else to do as its very frustrating. about to give up and just slick it and put windows on it, but i don't want to as i HATE windows.

iMessage does work with Chimera & FileNVRAM v1.1.2, but you'll need FileNVRAM v1.1.3 for Facetime, but this version doesn't work with iMessage.

chameleon wizard it works both I just do ,iMessage ,FaceTime no problem

Thunderbolt display issues:

Anyone got to the bottom of them? I'm trying to use dual displays on my NUC ML 10.8.4.

If I connect both at once and power on the NUC hard reboots a few seconds after post
If I connect both and -v -x I get in without problems.
If I connect HDMI - boot - then connect Thunderbolt - I get nasty sky blue screen hang (finder and wallpapers disappear.
If I connect Thunderbolt - boot - then connect HDMI - everything works perfectly...

Would really like to sort this out so that I don't have to keep plugging the HDMI each time.

On a separate note - does anyone have a guide for putting 10.9 on this box? Which method, DSDT and Kexts would I need?

FIXED IT

For dual displays you must set in BIOS - Thunderbolt as Primary and HDMI as Secondary. With HDMI as Primary and both displays connected OSX vomits.

What kind of thunderbolt display do You use? What max resolution do You get on hdmi, when it serves as single screen and when it serves as sens or thirst in dual screen config?
 
Hi, I have no issues with Thunderbolt display port. I connect my PRM35 projector via TB-HDMI cable for £2 and it detects it on the fly with correct 1280x800 resolution.

I have updated to 10.9 though.

I use this cable / adapter: eBay ref 261326023632

How did you update to 10.9?

I tried to update to 10.5 but ended up with a trashed system... I want to go to 10.9 but I'm using the system daily and don't want to have any significant down time.

I'm using a TB to HDMI adapter off eBay to a spare Hanns.G monitor. Both screens run at their native resolutions so 1920x1080 for my main and 1680x1050 for my Hanns.G (odd resolution I know but it is native for that panel)
 
Does anyone have any info on how to get the DW1702 working? I have everything else on the machine working (using 10.9) but the kexts fo both bluetooth and wifi don't seem to work (using Kext Utility 2.5.6). I can see the device ID in the BIOS so I don't think i messed anything up but have hit a bit of a brick wall on getting wifi/bluetooth.

edit: I got wifi working with a different kext but have decided to just drop back to 10.8 since mavericks isn't something I need. Hopefully everything will work there
