Sorry, those are just my preferred boot options. If the loading bar on the Chimera screen is too slow, set the Timeout in /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist to 1, so it should look like this:
Code:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GenerateCStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GeneratePStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>No</string> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>darkwake=0 -v</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>1</string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>"1920x1080x32"</string> </dict> </plist>
Under kernel flags you can remove the "-v" so you can see the apple logo with a little spinning wheel while booting up. I use the verbose boot (which may confuse beginners) so I can see what's going on during the boot process.
Hi yes! So i was booting with -v. I took that out and that solved a problem.
May I ask what darkwake is? I am still getting the snowy page before the login page for 10-15 seconds.
