I will have to look through my settings, and right now I am running 10.8.5. I plan to update to Mavericks next week. As for your Bios settings go, I can try to help you. Also Where are you at in the installation process? Because it sounds like you have gotten to the install screen and now are trying to boot into 10.9?

Here is a check list to go through.
_ AHCI mode
_ CPU is at base Clock
_ RAM is at base Clock
_ Only one Blank HD/SSD connected

PS: I have windows also running on my Hac, so that is possible, but don't try to get windows running until you have OS X up. Also I recommend having a time machine drive, it really comes in handy.

Edit add: You may wanna try npci=0x2000, I have read that has been helping some people out.
Edit add 2: You might try PCIRootUID=1 as well. I have had to use it for all of Mtn Lion, but it may not be needed in Mav.

would windows rows really be causing the problems? I have it installed on the other SSD but I disconnect it when very I try to install osx. Also I have not even seen the installer yet can't get bast the boot logo.

Well, I won't think so, because you do have it disconnect at the time.

so based on my video, does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

Ivy Bridge E does not yet have support under Mavericks. The first Mac to have support will be the new Mac Pro - which is due any day now. This is expected to be released with a factory release version of Mavericks that is not available anywhere else. We hope to see open support in a later release of Mavericks probably first quarter of 2014, possibly in 10.9.2, support needs to be made available from Apple.

Ok, so I just need to wait for apple to update osx, right? Other people are using my board but they are not using 4th gen processors, that's the problem! If anyone happens to get it running before the update please let me know! I want to be running the worlds best operating system soon!

The issue you are experiencing is to do with Kernel support for the Ivy Bridge E/EP CPUs. The present build of Mavericks is 13A603, this has no support for these processors. The new Mac Pro will ship with a different build version just as the MacBook Air did to add early Haswell support when it was released. You just need to remain patient for now.

  • If you have a real Mac or another hack running Mavericks, then you will be told that there is an update.
  • Keep an eye on MacRumors.com or another similar online magazine that covers Apple.
  • TonyMac has a twitter feed that you can follow: https://twitter.com/tonymacx86
  • The front page is good for news updates :http://www.tonymacx86.com/home.php
  • Articles thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/articles/
  • The buyers guide will be updated with the NEW socket 2011 processors (around 15th of the month)
  • Above all, keep your ear to the ground for information from several sources.
