I have pretty much the same build but Nofan case and power supply. I'm using Nvidia GTX 670 graphics card, connected to Apple Cinema Display (not the thunderbolt version) via display port to mini-display port adapter. Everything works fine after initial Unibeast 1.7 install, but after applying Multibeast 5.2.1 with your settings (and most others I have tried), I just get a white screen. It's difficult to debug because with SSD drive the verbose messages go by too quickly. I will have to video them to see if I can capture them.

Are you using on-board graphics or discreet graphics card?

Thanks.

I'm using discreet graphics, the EVGA GeForce GTX 580.

Bob

I got everything working, followed the instructions here:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...7x-up5-hackintosh-finally-working-almost.html

I first installed Chameleon, then installed Multibeast with just those options shown, after that success - boot to Cinema Display.

The only difference was that network card was working at 1 gb/s before Multibeast, then not working after. Went back and installed the appleintel driver and now it works.

Thanks.

@ stork, and shipbu1lder: Thank-you for the information. Apologies for not replying back earlier.

A question to both of you, does the wifi/bluetooth card which comes with the GA-Z77X-UP5-TH mobo work?

Also, would you recommend using parallel desktop (windows 7) or go the boot camp way (any instructions on the topic will be appreciated), does iTunes, iCloud work as well?

I did not try to use the wi-fi/bluetooth card, because I heard of others not getting it to work. I am using an IOGear USB bluetooth adapter, works great. I don't need the wi-fi.

Parallels works but only if you enable virtualization in the BIOS. This can be a problem when first installing, so first disable to install Mac OS X Unibeast, etc, then re-enable virtualization when everything is working.

I, too, didn't bother with the WiFi/BT card because 1) the WiFi doesn't have an OS X compatible chipset and 2) I already had a Targus BT on my KVM switch, to which my Thunderball build is connected. IIRC, the GA BT on the card will work, but why waste the motherboard space.

I don't use virutalization since I can multi boot other operating systems.

No, the wifi card that comes with the mobo doesn't work. I'm using the TP Link card. I also use Parallels and haven't had any problems with it. iTunes and iCloud also work just fine.

Don't know, never tried it per se. I do have Rosetta Stone and it works. The software says a word or sentence, and then you say it back into the microphone.

As I've said, except for the Thunderbolt ports, everything seems to work just fine. I don't have any thunderbolt devices so I have no way of testing them.

Take care,

Bob

Hi, I have been trying for 2 days of installing Mountain Lion on PC, and it is working great. However, I have a small problem which is the sound problem which i don't know what is wrong with it... :( First is it working, but it not working properly, so i try to reinstall the driver (upgrade).

Now, I can't hear any sound from the OS, eve though, I already install the MultiBeast 5.3.0 (without DSDT, ALC 898).
Any solution :(
