What BIOS version did the board ship with?
There are no updates on Gigabyte's site yet, but you can find the latest ones here if you happen to have gotten a board with an older BIOS revision.

Well I got mine but I think it may be bad. :(

It works more or less fine in Mac OS. I get weird crashes when I mount or unmount USB sticks but I am thinking that is a driver issue in OS X.

Anyway went to load windows and the machine is restarting itself during install. Got it to install and now it will just restart fairly frequently.

I can ALWAYS get it to restart while installing EVE Online. The weird thing is the game installs fine in safe mode.

I can always get it to crash when trying to open one of Gigabyte's MB tools. Such as EZtune or EZSetup.

It will occasionally just restart otherwise just idling.

So either the board is bad or the power supply. I am thinking board though as I have never had the restart in Mac OS X just hard locks.

I assume the other few of you that have yours already are working as intended?

Alright so I finally got eztuner to launch in windows crazy enough I chose to OC the thing rebooted and its as stable as can be! Doesn't make any sense.

Good news is I got my Thunderbolt display to work in Mac OS! It doesn't recognize thunderbolt in System Profiler but it does work! The firewire ports work the ethernet and the USB all work from the display as well. The Camera does not though oddly enough and neither does the Mic and Speakers. The speakers and Mic do show as input and output devices in Sound prefs though. I am thinking the audio maybe a chipset issue and not a TB one for that though as I haven't tested audio otherwise yet.

I got it to work by booting into Windows first and then rebooting into mac os and that surprisingly worked.

BT works from the card especially if you have booted into windows first. I got BT to work a few times before windows was even loaded though but others it wouldn't very odd behavior. As expected no wifi though ;(. So far this board seems pretty darn cool!

Now that I have the board knowing that video is supposed to head out over TB it will even display video out from a shutdown state! Getting into Mac OS from shutdown is awkward though. It does the gray screen, the spinning wheel the TB display turns off. I wait about 30 seconds or so and unplug and replug and the display fires backup.

I understand the appeal of the board, but if ML won't work with the TB ports (which is what we are waiting for no?) then there are other boards without them that are cheaper. I am holding off ordering until ML is out and we get reports of how the board works with it.

I agree, TB compatibility is the only reason Im willing to sacrifice the extra SATA 6gb ports on my current Z68 board. Hopefully we get to see this week.

I also notice that the two high end boards include mSata ports with Intel Smart Response support. However, I wonder if it will work as OSX boot drive. Not too sure on mSata reliability.

Just Read that using mSata will disable the Sata II ports :(

I think you misread it disables port 5 when using mSATA.

No one has ordered the Z77X-UP4 TH ?
