Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Did an update from F6 to F23 (Z690 Aero G DDR5), F23 brings back the Thunderbolt entries. Everything works fine, including the built-in LAN. However, what has never worked for me (Monterey, Ventura) is sleep with an M.2 card, neither Intel nor FENVI BCM94360NG. Something always activated Bluetooth and woke up the computer after a few seconds ("DarkWake from Normal Sleep [CDN] : due to RP08/Network Using AC"). Finally, annoyed, I removed the WiFi/BT card.

For those that have the RX6650XT, 6950 XT and 6900 XT, try this kext and see if it works for you. I disabled my SSDT for my RX6950XT and removed device properties and only injected this kext and it works. My 6950 now shows as that and not any other funny name like it was called before like this - AMD Radeon HD GFX10 Family Unknown Prototype

Just tried the kext. Seems to work fine. Correct name and it also shows correctly with Geekbench 5. Next ill try I'll try my RX6650 XT which I have not been able to get working on my Z690 Aero G. Thank you!

Same with me but I can still play HEVC videos without an issue.

Now comes a fun moment where I reveal that I am an idiot

Could have sworn I backed up my old EFI folder. Now I cannot seem to find a copy, and while clearing out the backups from the EFI folder, I apparently cleared out my working EFI folder. Ouch.

Does anyone have a "generic" EFI from last OCC they can upload for me? I think I was on 0.89 attempting to upgrade to 0.90, I'm pretty confident I can reconfigure my config.plist as before. *fingers crossed* Hopefully this machine does not crash before I can fully replace it

Interesting you are still having trouble. Both of my machines are working well. No sleep issues at all and no Windows Server issues. What is different about both my machines is that the internal wi-fi/bluetooth module is replaced with the FENVI macOS compatible module and internal lan is disabled and replaced with a NICGIGA 2.5G Base-T PCIe Network Adapter, Realtek RTL8125B 2.5Gbps. I could not get either of the built-ins to work satisfactorily. I had sleep issues, Bluetooth freeze-ups and the NIC had terrible download/upload speeds. I am using CaseySJ's EFI with minor modifications and I upgraded to OC 0.90. The Z790 Aero G/i7-13700 KF also has GC-Titan Ridge TB flashed which is also working fine. Using BIOS F5. On the Z690 Aero G using BIOS F22. I can post my EFI if you would like. They are exactly the same for both.
Now I can use your EFI folder for different reasons

Alternative advice? I could load the latest CaseySJ EFI post and use HackinDROM to upgrade from there as well, before editing

Attached is a generic OpenCore 0.9.0 EFI folder for Gigabyte Z690 Aero G. This version was created by downloading the 0.8.3 version from this thread and making in-place updates. It hasn't been tested.

Please refer to Post 1 for instructions on how to customize it for your system.

Thanks a ton. Any idea if using onboard Bluetooth and WiFi still require downloading custom kexts? I remember doing that originally with 0.7.7 but forget if OpenCore updates now include the needed versions since then
