None.Wow. Really weird.
Is there a lot of memory swapping going on?
Before first boot I'll flip to APFS.

Is this the sabrent drive you're using ?After flipping to APFS and then rebooting, OC88 doesn't even see it, and BIOS doesn't even see the EFI
I would definitely go with a different drive than that. Controller is not compatible with Montery/Ventura. It's got the infamous Phison E12S. Try a WD SN570. Prices are very low right now.Believe so, yes

I'm reinstalling 13.1 to the disk (without reformatting, so hopefully my data's all there) and then I'll update to 13.2 and hope for the best (and hope it's then bootable).
M2 Pro looking better and better.

1TB for $70 is an unbeatable deal.

It's still the same Phison E12S controller. You can see from the pic on Amazon. It's the regular Rocket, not the Q version.

The first is the actual 2TB disk. It has the EFI partition, and it's FAT32. But my BIOS just won't see it / won't boot from it. But I can boot into Windows Boot Manager just fine, and I can boot from USB OC88 just fine. disk0s1, though, just won't show in my BIOS.
What do I do to fix this? Any thoughts?
