I changed the memory to G.Skill RipjsV DDR4 4600MHz 16GB.
Maximally worked at 4300MHz.

@CaseySJ, understood... however, which has on board Thunderbolt capabilities? That will be my nomination.LOL, I was just waiting for someone to post this!
To create a Golden Build, we first need to settle on a specific motherboard. Which board shall we use?
P.S. This does not constitute a promise to create a Golden Build. I'll think about it...
- Gigabyte Z690 Aero D?
- Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Master?
- MSI Z690 MEG ACE?
- Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi?
- Asus Z690 Maximus Hero?
Some serious overclocking on water cooler alone...12.0 GHz !? THAT is a speed record…
All of those have on-board Thunderbolt 4 except for the Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Master.@CaseySJ, understood... however, which has on board Thunderbolt capabilities? That will be my nomination.

Alas there are no DDR4-based Z690 motherboards with on-board Thunderbolt. In fact, most (or all) DDR4-based Z690 boards don't even split PCIe 5.0 lanes between two x16 slots. Instead, PCIe 5.0 is only available on the first x16 slot.@CaseySJ Do you think DDR5 is a good choice? Those boards you mentioned use DDR5 only and these cost a lot more.
Awesome!Z690 Gaming X + GC-Titan Ridge 2 Works Hot-Plug.
