Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Thanks @suren6791

Here are mine, 100%OK on BS and not on Monterey after update OC 0.70 to 0.71 with HackINDROM.
I thought that the update means download new EFI and just copy info (SN etc.) from the machine. But it seems that it's not the case as it does not match EFI posted by Casey....
and more importantly I should get my mouse working when starting from a fresh EFI, and that's not the case...
Your screenshot indicates BlueToolFixup.kext is missing. If you downloaded the 0.7.1 EFI from the mini-guide (not HackinDROM App because you have to be careful in how you merge the old and new EFI folders when using the App) then this kext will have been present and your problem could have been fixed! :)

After downloading the right ZIP file (for Intel Wireless) you will find:
  • config-AMD-GPU.plist
  • config-Intel-iGPU.plist
Rename config-AMD-GPU.plist to config.plist and copy your serial numbers into it. Rename the top level folder to just EFI and transfer it to EFI partition of a USB boot disk (for test purposes). Then boot from the USB Flash disk by pressing F12 at Gigabyte Splash Screen and selecting the USB Flash disk.

At the OpenCore Picker, boot Monterey.

Does Bluetooth work now in Monterey?

Thanks, I will enable those and try an boot with it.
If you reload this web page you'll see I added something about digital output to my previous reply.

You said that disabling Itlwm did not solve the problem, but you still believe it is related to Itlwm?
Yes that's right. Because the errors seemingly indicated it was the cause.

BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext is not compatible with Monterey so we must use BlueToolFixup.kext instead.

Another thing you can try is to disable the on-board Bluetooth USB port, which will in effect disable Intel Bluetooth. This can be done as follows:

Then see if the system boots up normally. If so, it confirms that Bluetooth is the problem. Then we can try to find the root cause.
Thanks for this, and good news, it looks like I finally solved the case!

It seems that the issue was indeed caused by itlwm.kext which caused the KPs, but also by one other very small setting - CSR-active-config. When I booted it with 6700000 and itlwm disabled it KPed all the time. Changing it to EF0F0000 (thanks to a search I'd made) and also turning off itlwm made it all work.

That what I did as a second attend, trying to start from a fresh EFI from you mini Guide.
And then no mouse enable at welcome screen on both BS and Monterey.
That's why I start to really wonder why I get this additional problem :(

Can you post OpenCore Configurator --> Kernel screenshot for the fresh EFI you made from the mini-guide? Keep in mind that a new EFI folder was uploaded at 3:44am yesterday. So it was necessary to discard the previous downloaded file and do a new download.

I just downloaded the file and look what I see:

Here we go.
I feel we are around 12 hours time difference. It's now 9am in my place and I downloaded again your EFI an hour ago.
Both seems to be the same.
If I can get my mouse functioning with this EFI I'll go :)
I can easily forget past EFI :)

Does BlueToolFixup.kext exist in Kernel section?

Is OpenCore Configurator set to 0.7.1 Release Version?

SO I believe I can start from you latest EFI posted on the mini guide and import my Info as I already did.
Just need to solve out the non functioning mouse issue as I get the welcome screen on both BS and Monterey but can't enter my password.
This seems to be easier to solve... provided you have any idea :) :)

Please note that (a) Bluetooth not working and (b) Mouse not working are two different problems.
  • Is Bluetooth working now?
    • Do you see Bluetooth icon in menu bar?
    • Can you enable and disable Bluetooth?
    • Can you connect AirPods or other Bluetooth speaker? Does it work?
  • Regarding the mouse...
    • What is the make/model of the mouse?
