So I decide to started again from scratch
I download Big Sur 11.1 installer and build a USB key
Since my mobo has broken NVRAM I follow the @TheBloke 's procedure : #1,063
It failed, I tried Twice

Is there anyone who tried @TheBloke : #1,063 procedure with a 11.1 fresh installer ?
Thanks in advance
My bad
To make sur it works
I add NVRAM ➧ Delete ➧ 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 ➧ msu-product-url to make sure the last modification in the config.plist is truly taken.

First of all, how much faster does your friends z490 system boot in comparison to yours? ;)
For reference, i just timed my boot after picking the entry in OC menu - it took 25s to the login-screen of Big Sur.

I have never experienced this speed in my previous clover-based setup.
i'm getting 35 seconds from after the OC timer chooses my boot drive. I guess I figured nvme, plenty of ram and cores, but maybe that's what actually makes it take longer?

This is odd: I made a USBMap.kext with USBMap command. Everything seems to work but I've noticed that, after every reboot, the XHC2,3, and 4 addresses change. Without anything they are @00000000,01000000,02000000 respectively. But with the kext (and XHC renaming SSDT), they seem to change.

Has anyone experienced this?

Hi Guys.. i got problem here.. Install big sur using Opencore 0.6.3. Installation restart at 12 minute.

Error : ASP: System is shutting down (SIP DISABLED)

IGPU : Nvidia Gforce GT 730 2GB
RAM : 4GB RAM DDR3 1333mhz

This is a X299 thread, your CPU is over 10 years old.

Well, it looks like Apple updated to 11.2. How's that working for anyone so far?

I just installed 11.2; of course I made a backup of 11.0.1, just in case. I'm letting it do it's thing. Wow! As I'm writing this, it seems to work. Of course Kensington's TrackballWorks (after months of waiting), finally came out with a version that worked, up until now. Everything else seems to be working. I'll try a few apps and give more of my feedback. Can't thank you guys enough; especially Loloflatsix !!! Thank you for all that you've done after KGP retired from all of this. I wish I could reach out to him and say hi and thank him again too!

Well, so far everything is still working fine. I can't believe that with the setup that I (and quite a few others here on this post), have machines that cost us $2,500 to $4,500, that it literally is on the same par of the new MacPros that cost $12,000 to $25,000+. Just amazing. My particular setup would have cost me around $33,000 for the same machine. And I've had my machine now for over 2.5 years and it's still a working powerhouse. Thanks to guys like you!!! Without you and forums like this, I would be dead in the water. I'm so glad that I have this and 3 x 28" 4K monitors working side, by side, by side. This is just amazing! I'm also glad that I made a backup system identical to my machine (just in case).

I will say that your BIOS setup is mostly like the way KGP set his up with a slight adjustment on two things:

KGP's (Klaus') setup:
b.) AVX Instruction Core Ratio Negative Offset: "2"
c.) AVX-512 Instruction Core Ratio Negative Offset: "3"

@Loloflatsix's setup:
b.) AVX Instruction Core Ratio Negative Offset: "3"
c.) AVX-512 Instruction Core Ratio Negative Offset: "2"

Now I haven't changed anything on mine, so it's the same (as it has been for 2.5 years now), as KGP set it up. So my question to you @Loloflatsix, is there a difference? Let me know. Thanks.
