Thank you. I think the sleep wake issue is now fixed; I put my laptop into sleep and then woke it back up and it worked fine but I still have to test it more because previously it sometimes worked and it sometimes didn't. I'll report back to you if there are still issues about the system sleep wake. Also, I don't think you've answered this question but how can I use my headphone microphone? Like I said before, the system still uses the internal mic even when I plugged my headset in
Happy it worked for you. Regarding the Headset Mic issue, if im not mistaken, I don't think anyone has accomplished this on a hackintosh laptop without sacrificing something. like mic working in headset, but no audio through speakers; or speakers and internal mic work, but not headset mic etc. @Feartech can maybe help you out there

not really as i don't have the hardware to test

if you have gone through all layout-ids as per:
and it still doesn't work, then you may need to:

also have a look at:

I think ill try these out and see if I can get it configured. @Feartech have you seen this accomplished before? internal mic, internal speakers, headphones, and headphones mic all working simultaneously without issue?

not sure, can't remember if anyone has mentioned it working

@Feartech I found this on the PinConfigurator GitHub :
  • 0x71E: Second Microphone Device set to Line In / Connector set to Unknown (Ext Mic doesn't work on Hackintoshes - Rodion2010)
Does this Mean external mic doesn't work on Hackintoshes?

when your headset is connected and input uses internal mic, does it pick up your voice while headset is plugged in? or does your internal mic mute as well?

the internal mic is working even when I plug in my headset, it just doesn't use the mic on my headset.

Regarding the sleep wake, I've noticed something:
I am able to put my laptop into sleep when I close the lid or click on the sleep button from the Apple icon.
However, when I just leave my laptop open (like without closing the lid), the laptop continues to run (meaning the power button is still lit up).
I don't know but what do you think about this?

go to Hackintool click on Power and make sure Hibernatemode is set to 0 and Proximitywake is set to 0.
also some programs will prevent the laptop from sleeping on its own. for example, if I use intel-power gadget, my laptop won't sleep on its own, since intel-gadget prevents sleep

try 4D000000 as layout id. and see if the external mic works

I remember when I first used your EFI file, the audio didn't work at all for the layout id 4D000000, so that's not the case.
