[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Nice one. @CaseySJ can we upgrade our BIOS or do you advise otherwise?
You’re most welcome to upgrade to F9i, but note that CFG-Lock is enabled by default so it will have to be unlocked manually every time CMOS is reset or new BIOS is flashed. I am personally staying on F9g (haven’t found anything wrong with F9g and CFG-Lock is actually disabled by default).

Hello!
If like me you're tired with Gigabyte Ultradurable logo at startup you can change it!
...
Awesome! Added to Quick Reference guide.

I'm on F9b (which I guess doesn't have the option to have it disabled by default). Do you, by any chance, have the F9g bios file? Only the latest version is available on the gigabyte website, so I can't download it anymore. I do have the b still, but not the g.

CaseySJ - While you are updating the front page, can you put a link on the front page to your OpenCore guide that is buried in this thread somewhere?

That is already there if I'm correct, the fifth URL on this first post, right?

The two external USB 2.0 ports are HS09 and HS10, both of which are missing. Are you using USBPorts.kext or the standard SSDT-UIAC-DESIGNARE-Z390-V7.aml?

HS08 and HS13 enable USB 2.0 protocol on the two Thunderbolt 3 ports. If you enabled these ports, it is likely that you elected to disable the two USB 2.0 (black) ports on the rear IO panel to keep the total number at 15.

I’m using the standard one with usbinjectall

That's pretty slick, thanks! Works great.

I made a OpenCore version (1920x1080), feel free to use of course :)
Thanks!
Have you tried your 1920x1080 image?
Is it correctly fitted on your screen?
