Argh. Another prohibited sign, after a warm reboot. Reboot once more, wipe NVRAM in Clover, and I am in again. Really irritating.

Are you using OcQuirks-4 and al? iMacPro SMBIOS? Slide=0?

NVME drive or SATA?

No problems here with Clover 5099. I even tried, just for fun, AptioMemoryFix and it still works with my SMBIOS.

**Ok, I have a copy of your EFI that you shared upon my request back in July. I was looking for different member’s EFI to compare and use in case of troubles on my side.

Differences from me are:

-Clover 5119 instead of 5099
- You use headless IGPU and a different SMBIOS (19,1)
- Your Kexts were not up to date, at least back in July (Lilu, WEG...).
- I do not use « Halt enabler » nor « Fix shutdown » in the ACPI section.
- You have a lot of stuff in your ACPI patches. Maybe needed for your IGPU? I only have HDAS to HDEF and PEGP to GFX0. Sorry, just saw that most are disabled...

In case it could help you, I attach my EFI minus serial.

Your UEFI drivers are the same as me.

i cant use that slot because of the video card and my fan overlaps on the first slot I tried to use the startech one to see if that would solve it aswell but with no success... do you think it could be something in the bios setting of the mobo or even some kext / extension file im missing in my mojave build?

I don't see any change at 49:01.0 - doesn't seem like anything changed.
the ./fast.sh script is supposed to show a # Before and # After message.
execute the ./fast.sh 3 49:01.0 command by itself.

It's possible to temporarily move the GPU to the bottom long slot (x4) and install the Vantec in the x8 slot. This will at least let us know whether our suspicions about the x8 slot are correct.

Other Suggestions:

• Does the Vantec and/or Startech card appear in BIOS itself? Select the System Info section at the top of the BIOS Setup screen. The option near the bottom of the screen will list all PCIe cards in the system.
• If the Vantec and/or Startech appears in BIOS, does it work in Windows?

That is odd. On macOS Big Sur we currently need to patch the Aquantia driver. Maybe that's worth a try in Catalina as well??

Hi Casey,

tried this and still did not work. Unfortunately I have no other way of confirming that my OC configuration is correct. All I know is that it was working in 0.6.0 and now its not in 0.6.1. Do you know of anyone that has the same MB and is using OC? Maybe I could compare my OC setting with theirs

@CaseySJ Alright it boots consistently now. Issues are:

-no hdmi 4k out if not with the trick I mentioned. Probably something to patch?
EDIT: found the solution around, needed to disable a deep color option on my tv

-no usb2 ports (but case front yes). USBinjectall is present in other and extensions folders and the uuid patch within acpi patched. I attach the kernel patches within clover

-cannot connect to the appstore. Already tried logout and back in to icloud. No wifi card installed though

It’s always a good idea to retest previous baselines. OC 0.6.0 is still available for download from this thread. Let’s check 0.6.0 again.

Which SMBIOS name are you using? iMac19,1?

In System Information —> Network do you see a network device on en0?
