[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I flash the Designare Z390.
Device is not connected, and I get 20x2

Some questions:
  • Which motherboard or PCIe card was flashed? Was the Designare Z390 flashed? Or the GC-Titan Ridge?
  • When you looked at System Information --> Thunderbolt, were any Thunderbolt devices connected?
    • If yes, then please disconnect all TB devices and check the Link Speed again.

Hi! I'm trying to get WOL working. It worked with windows but i don't have a windows installation anymore.
De LEDS on the motherboard are off when power is off.
All WOL options are enabled in BIOS and "wake for network acces' is on. I'm running 10.14.6

You're right -- no control messages were logged so we'll need to run WireShark again:
  • First run RGB Fusion app and turn off all LEDs
  • Then run WireShark and begin capturing traffic
  • Now select the edge LED channel in RGB Fusion and change the color mode to static.
  • Then change the color mode to pulse
  • Then change the color mode to flash
  • Stop the WireShark capture and upload the file
Hi Casey,

I will retry this tonight after work. To make things a little more easier I’m turning my system into a dual boot Win10 / MacOS system this afternoon so this way I don’t need to keep swapping drives in and out. :) I’m following your instructions as posted on the Z490 and Z390 forums. I’m using OC 0.6.0 now too so hopefully this makes things easier with dual boot. Is there anything really critical I need to do first, apart from making sure the windows SSD is in the slot closest to the CPU?

After installing the Windows NVMe SSD into the M2M slot (closest to CPU) it's also advisable to format the SSD and install Windows as described in this recent note I posted in the Z490 thread:

Yes, it still shows 20x2
