I am new here so hello everyone.

I am looking at completing my first Hackintosh build. The hardware I have is:
Gigabyte B365M-DS3H
i3 8100
SanDisk 240Gb Ssd SATA 3
8Gb Corsair 2666MHz memory

Planing on using iGPU so no dedicated video card.

Just would like a Hackintosh to play around with and may be do a light office work.

Another member asked if this motherboard was good enough for a Hackintosh and it was confirmed to be good. I know the other hardware should be.

Is there a an easy to follow install for Catalina (using the above hardware - assuming the above hardware can run Catalina or is Mojave more compatible)? Nothing recent has been posted for the B365 chipset or the B360 chipset (I believe the B360 chipset is very similar to the B365).

Hey was wondering if you've gotten anywhere since posted? I have the exact same CPU and motherboard combo and have been stuck. Was wondering if you could steer me in the right direction.

Hi there.

Unfortunately the OP hasn't been back here for 3-months.

Why not post details of your problem?

Boot in "verbose" mode and post a screengrab or photo of where it stops.

Explain how you installed, or are trying to install, macOS.

:)

Yes I did. It is fully working and for full details you might be better to PM me. There is a guide I followed but it is on another website. I have been using the rig for around 3 months or more with no issues. Just for completeness, it is becoming our main computer.

I would give you the link here but I don’t know this forum’s regulations on posting other people’s work.

Astounding - and welcome back

No, we don't allow help and support over PM. The whole reason for the site is to help as many people as we can - publicly

If the techniques you used to build the Hackintosh are not based on the ones we have here, again, it may be removed.

You could always upload your EFI folder - after removing the serial-numbers from your config.plist, and the other builder could explore that. As could any others interested in these components.

:)

Thank you for your prompt reply. I will upload as much as i can tomorrow. I am no expert but I do agree with helping as many people as we can without perjury.

Thats awesome congrats. And I would really appreciate that how would I go about PM'ing you? Is that done on this site?

It is not allowed but I do need to give you some files. I totally forgot to do it. I am able to do it right now but I hope to do it later today.

I just remembered that I was going to send some files over. Please find below my config.plst. If you open clover you should be able to load this file. You are going to need install all the kext to your clover as well.

If you are struggling then let me know and I will see if I can help. This is my first build but it is very stable and we are loving it.

Thank you so much I really appreciate your help. All went smooth I'm up and running my setup. I did encounter an issue I believe is common..? Maybe? When the system goes to sleep, to get it back up and running I essentially have to reboot, have you worked this out/did you encounter this issue?
