[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Please try this in Terminal:
Code:
sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel
Then reboot, login, and attempt the update again. Any difference?

That doesn't seem to have made a difference unfortunately

First Warm Boot Captures:
I can see both Ports, but no Dock.
- The connection light (Blue link) is lit on the Dock
- Link Speeds now report Zero (0) Gb/s x2. (I love the x2)
See attached.

Rebooting now to try Warm connect...
@CaseySJ @svandive
it would be interesting to remove all power saving methods (PS0 PS3 RTPC MUST ..) like said before by @dgsga !

I would make sure your WiFi is off to, make sure you have only one connection (Ethernet) to your network. Test and verify that you can ping your gateway, test pinging 4.2.2.2 or 8.8.8.8 something outside your network. Also double check your Network Mask, if your mask is wrong you might not be able to respond to a ping coming in from another device. Verify your network and your gateway's network mask are the same.
I can ping from the Hackinsosh successfully:

Only Ethernet on

Confirmed gateway IP and mask:

PS0 and PS3 are already removed. Let me remove the others...
Couple interesting things.

- The Cold Boot didn't really get to a COLD boot, for some reason my rig was hanging on to power, I disconnected the power cable and my memory stayed glowing, I went and fed my dogs, and the memory stayed glowing, Some nice full cap was keeping enough power to keep my Dominator memory alive.
- Normally on a cold boot my LEDs will all go back to White until I boot in to Windows. This time they stayed multi color. Not sure if the "Cold Boot" actually worked... (See photo...)

-- After the "Cold Boot", I could see the Dock's Ethernet port in the PCI output of System Information.
-- Thunderbolt was still empty this time, Thunderbolt does show under PCI.

Moving on to V4!!

P.S. Thank you for all of this!! Great Fun...

PERFECT!!!!
i managed to install my Hackintosh following this guide but withsome issues...
i could not complete the installation folowing the guide and using the latest versions of Unibest, multibeast and Clover!

I tried to use exactly the versions you mention in the guide (and not the latest ones) and all went well with the installation with no issues.

Gigabyte Designware z390
Intel i9 9900K
Samsung SSD M2 1 TB for Mac Os
Samsung SSD M2 1 TB for Home folder
64 GB 3600Mhz DDR4
2x Samsung Evo 860 2TB for Music folders, Plugins and Sample Packs
Use for Music Production with Apollo Twin
case Be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 Rev2

Everything is working fine except:
The 2nd ethernet port is not working... but i think i will not need it (so no problem there)
i use a Be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 Rev 2 case and cannot control the case led strips... the previous version had a control switch to cicle the case presets...Now my case changes the led color faster than i change my shirt...everyday a new color scheme... :(
Any way to control the led strips or the memory leds, without installing windows?

THANKS FOR THIS GUIDE
I MANAGED TO BUILD THE PERFECT MACHINE FOR MY NEEDS!
That's progress!

The first Ethernet port (i211, closest to WiFi antenna port) requires SmallTreeIntel82576.kext. The other one (i219, closest to orange audio jack) requires IntelMausiEthernet.kext.

Which one is not working?

I typed ifconfig in Terminal to obtain the IP address of my WiFi connection (no wired Ethernet on Test Bench), went over to my Windows laptop and ping'ed the Test Bench without any issue.

Do you have any virus checker or Internet protection suite such as NetBarrier by Intego?
I can ping my other Macs, just not this hack. No anti virus, Internet protection, or security software installed.

..., I disconnected the power cable and my memory stayed glowing, I went and fed my dogs, and the memory stayed glowing...
You physically pulled the plug from the wall, fed the dogs, came back, and it was still glowing? You have Ironman on the left and perhaps his Fusion Reactor on the right! :)

As you have a biggest 1200W PS, that probably include biggest capacitors that we can imagine, you should press power button (case button not power supply) with power cable unplugged to quick discharge them :)
