Hi Casey or anyone that might know. I followed Caseys Designare build to a tee, and its working great except for the Bluetooth Apple mouse --the lag is so bad. I'm on Catalina 10.15.3 right now. Anyone have any luck troubleshooting this?

I can certainly create a spoiler in Post #1 under Contributed Files and Tips, but need to know the following:

• What problem does this fix? (i.e. Ability to run Corsair iCue under Windows Virtual Machine?)
• What products does this affect? (i.e. Corsair all-in-one liquid coolers?)
• What else is required? (i.e. Windows running in a virtual machine; iCue software for Windows; ..)
• What are the downsides? (i.e. UPS systems will not be recognized in macOS when connected via USB cable.)

Well...I jumped too soon

The downside of the "ioupsd" is the power daemon (powerd) keeps trying to invoke ioupsd. The only way I saw it (since the high CPU activity doesn't appear on Activity Monitor) was when I looked at top.

So. Back to the drawing board. I'm going to look into how we can do this the correct way.

I was trying to follow the Catalina Mini Guide posted at page 1730. I found that Clover is changed and doesn't look like the previous . I am not able to follow the exact same guide because a lot of things are not selectable here. Can someone tell me what to do?

So after testing, I connected a DP to the DP-in.
Hot plugging works with the monitor, running 4k@60hz succesfuly if connected directly through the USB-C -> DP Adapter.

In this case are you connecting your monitor directly to Thunderbolt Port 1 (this is the port closest to HDMI port)?

However, IF i connect the mointor to my dock, and the dock to the nearest thunderbolt connection to the HDMI. i'm getting only 4k@30hz, a bandwidth issue it seems @CaseySJ ?

• What is the make and model of the Dock?
• For this case, have you unplugged the DP-In cable?

This is why I gave up on fixing sleep/wake problems three months ago -- because the logs don't help and we can chase this problem for months or years. However, on both of my systems it works, but I consider "maintenance wake" to be normal because it only occurs once every two hours.

When your SSD arrives on Wednesday, I would encourage you to follow the Catalina 10.15.4 guide precisely and then test sleep/wake without installing any third-party apps or drivers. Simply third-party apps are fine such as Clover Configurator, Hackintool, Disk Speed Test, etc.

Some people have reported significant improvements after disabling 2.4 GHz signal on their WiFi router. You might try that temporarily...
