@Leesureone : Thanks for your reply. I see a couple of UA devices in that list that have the same tb3 controller and uses the same drivers and UA console. So that's hopeful. Actually I'm aware that it's a hit or miss and best thing is to buy an Apple successor for the MBP, but actually building a hack is something that I used to have a lot of fun (and frustration ) with. The idea is to see if it works and if not use the NUC as a Arduino/Xcode workstation instead of the audiostation and buy a mid 2020 new mini (if they will arrive then). The current MBP I have works fine with the TB2-->TB3 adapter but I need more CPU power and that NUC seems to have about 2.5 times the power compared to my late 2011 15 I7 quad. Also the idea of putting it in an Akasa Turing and make it totally silent is very appealing as I'm now hearing 6000 rpm nextto my ear all the time.
