Are you sure? I just got the prestige 15 and if you go in advance bios settings I have the option to disable it. And I mean advanced bios not the advanced tab in bios. At the BIOS screen Hold ALT, Hold Right Control, Hold Shift, And Press F2 while holding those 3 buttons, Advanced Menu will show up. (You have to also holf fn to press f2)

@R055
currently I no longer have the laptop (i wont to try the new GS65 Stealth Thin with new cpus...or the new prestige 15 with new i7 u-series :lol:)
however my attempt was made by entering the bios with the delete key
actually you're telling me something I didn't know
maybe @Bucaro , or someone else, can try attaching photos
thanks for your advice!

EDIT: I just tried another ps63 and it works. Unbelievable. this is great news. I'll enter the details tonight

A dw1560 will fit and work?

@R055
I haven't try the if it works, but i'm sure that now it will detect other cards.
I had already tried however, before knowing this function, to insert the respective DW1560 and the DW1820a. The first one enters forming a slight bend on the pcb, as below there is the motherboard and this board has capacitors on both sides. The second is more suitable but less performing, so in any case I would choose the first one.

wow ! that wonderful, in the guide you need to change the USB Inject ALL fix part no? because it's disabling the Bluetooth and the wifi.
and also is this necessary to do this part TRACKPAD with gestures if the trackpad is working fine without it?

@ruben

correct, actually if you change your wifi/bluetooth card you don't need to disable it, but you need to disable all other ports that you don't use (and the fingerprint device) . I haven't now this laptop for edit this guide, but is very simple to do.
The trackpad is working because you use voodoops2controller that is an "universal driver". If you want a more responsive trackpad with more responsive gestures, you need to do that steps

Hi.
I followed the post to disable the CNVI.
I have been traying to discover if it’s work but even in Window$, the system don’t recognice the wifi card.
I tryed with a bcm94352Z, with a bcm94350ZAE and with a Intel 7260 but nothing
if someone find the solution, it’s wellcome

@Bucaro oh...it's really a pity that it doesn't work.. isn't there any other interesting feature related CNVi option among the options in the bios? unfortunately as I have already said I no longer have this computer at the moment
