It didn't work. I did following, It worked. It turns on the Num lock LED when running the FixNumLock script. However it doesn't work when Karabiner-Element is running.
- I tried running that script and rebooted.
- Input monitoring permission asked for the "FixNumLock" and granted.
- Closed Karabiner-Element
- I'm using ApplePS2Controller_Release_v4.6.8.kext

Neither Num lock led turns on nor Numpad keys works. Let me know if you want to try anything else.

- However I got Numpad working using "setleds" program. But the thing is it doesn't work well with Karabiner-Element so I added some rule in karabiner and wrote a script to make it work with Karabiner. It's tricky but works great. I can use Num lock like it works in windows.
- Another method to turn numpad on is, when system boots up (prior to macOS booting) and you turn on the Num lock, it'll work

Hello @xiaoM4095 I have problem installing Mojave on my Y530. See attachment.

At first, it said that Application damaged. I changed system time from terminal to old time. It worked.

After one reboot, it shows me this error.

As normally we do.

At first screen, it showed me an error like (see attachment)
I opened terminal, changed system date and continued installation.

After one reboot, it showed me error llike in previous post.

It is recommended to re-write the image to the USB flash drive for installation.

If you're using EFI build v2.0.3 from @xiaoM4095, you can enable numpad using https://github.com/damieng/setledsmac. It would basically activate the numpad and num lock key led would turn on.
If you're using Karabiner-Elements, it conflicts with it and won't work. In that case close the Karabiner, turn on the numpad using setleds and open karabiner.

Hi! Would you like to know how much the system has been configured so far? Can mojave be used with original machine parts?
